Update! 7/18/2025
After 92 days in foster care and a countdown that had us all holding our breath, Queen has found her forever home! Her story went viral online, and messages poured in from across the country. In the end, it was a woman right here in Florida who saw Queen and felt an instant connection. She had recently lost her 15-year-old pitbull and knew her heart had room for one more. Queen is now living her best life, just as she always deserved.

She nearly didnāt make it.
Queen, a 6-year-old bully pitbull with the gentlest soul, was quietly placed on the euthanasia list at Broward County Animal Care. No one knew. No urgent shelter plea. No social post. Just a quiet clock ticking down until volunteers found out and scrambled to save her on what couldāve been her final day.
Then came Joy.

A kind-hearted foster who stepped in at the very last minute and took Queen home.
Now, Queen spends her days doing exactly what her name suggests, living like royalty. She gardens with Joy, enjoys homemade popsicles, lounges in the sun, and offers the kind of gentle snuggles you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. Sheās affectionate, calm, and just wants to be near her person.
Hereās the hard part.
Joy is leaving the country in August and Queen doesnāt have anywhere to go.
She needs a forever home and soon. Joy has done everything to give Queen safety and love, but she canāt take her with her when she leaves. Sheās even willing to personally drive Queen anywhere to get her to the right family.
Queen hasnāt been tested with other dogs due to her size and Joyās cautiousness, but with slow introductions and the right energy, itās possible she could live with a dog sibling. Ideally though, sheād love to soak up all the love for herself as the only pet. (It is her throne, after all.)
She loves plush toys, sunbathing, and curling up next to you on the couch.
Sheās the kind of dog who makes your home feel warmer just by being in it.
