Update! 8/13/2025
On day 899, Bingo’s forever began. A woman saw his video on Facebook, knew instantly he was her dog, and made it official. After nearly 3 years in the shelter, countless volunteer walks, and endless love from the Tri-County team, Bingo left in style, walking a red carpet into his new life. That night, he stayed up past 4:30 PM for the first time in years, met his neighbor puppy friend, and curled up surrounded by toys. We’re so thankful to volunteer Angelina, who posted Bingo on TikTok every day for 90 days until the right person saw him. Bingo is finally home… exactly where he belongs.

Let’s talk about Bingo.
He’s been adopted twice. Returned twice.
Yet somehow, this 3-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix is still smiling, still wagging, still ready to love again.

Bingo first arrived at Tri-County Humane in Boca Raton, FL back in September 2022 after making the long journey from Puerto Rico as a puppy. Like many shelter dogs, he was full of energy and still learning the ropes of how to be in a home.
He was adopted a few months later... and then returned for being “too nippy.” Puppy stuff. Adopted again a month later... and returned when the family went through a divorce. The person who kept Bingo moved in with roommates, and it wasn’t the right fit.
Can you imagine giving your heart away—twice—only to be left behind again?
Still, he shows up. Still, he trusts. Still, he learns new commands, plays fetch like a champ, hops in the car for a ride like nothing ever hurt him.
Bingo is goofy, smart, and so incredibly loyal. He knows sit, down, paw. He’s housebroken. He’s good with other dogs (especially the ladies), but he’s also nervous around kids and needs a home that can provide him with structure and consistency.
What he really needs is someone who won’t give up on him.
Someone active. Someone patient. Someone who doesn’t mind being followed around the house by a 60 lb shadow who just wants to feel safe again.
If that’s you, Bingo is waiting.

💛 Fostering or adopting Bingo would mean the world. He can’t go through another return.
