Growing up, I was taught that shelter dogs were damaged. That they were crazy, aggressive, or bound to bite. In 2024, I felt a calling to do more for my community, which led me to start volunteering at local shelters. It didn’t take long for me to realize the truth: these dogs aren’t damaged. They each have a unique story about how they ended up in a shelter, but at the core, they just need love, patience, and a sense of safety.
That’s why I started Every Dog Deserves, to give these pups the spotlight they’ve been missing, show off their true personalities, and help them find the homes they deserve. Through this blog, I’m sharing their stories, the realities of rescue, and how we can all play a part in giving every dog the love, care, and second chance they deserve. ❤️🐶

Vision
My hope is that Every Dog Deserves will inspire more people to see shelter dogs for who they truly are- loving, worthy, and in need of a second chance. Through storytelling, real-life rescue journeys, and behind-the-scenes looks at dog’s day out adventures, this blog aims to break the stereotypes surrounding shelter dogs and highlight how small acts of kindness can lead to big changes.
This platform is about education, advocacy, and action, whether it’s helping someone feel confident enough to adopt, encouraging more people to volunteer, or simply shifting how the world sees rescue dogs.
The goal is to build a community of dog lovers who believe that Every Dog Deserves a chance at love, safety, and a future they can finally call their own.
